Ada Sunrise Rotary celebrated the holiday season in December 2025 with its annual Christmas party, graciously hosted by Rotarians Christine Pappas and Shirley Mixon at their home. More than 19 members and guests came together for an evening of food, fellowship, and festive cheer that put a warm cap on a busy and productive year of service.
Christine and Shirley's hospitality set the tone for a relaxed and joyful gathering where members could step back from the work of committee meetings and service projects and simply enjoy each other's company. Evenings like this one are a reminder of why the friendships inside a Rotary club matter just as much as the work the club does in the community.
As the 2025 calendar year drew to a close, the Christmas party offered a natural moment to reflect on everything Ada Sunrise Rotary accomplished together, from the Fireball Classic and Back to School Basics to disaster preparedness kits, dictionary deliveries, and so much more. It was a year worth celebrating, with people worth celebrating it with.
