Rotarian Connie Hall delivered the final set of District Grant-funded disaster preparedness kits to Mama T's Bread and Blessings, completing the club's emergency preparedness project.

On January 13, 2026, Rotarian Connie Hall delivered the final set of disaster preparedness kits to Mama T's Bread and Blessings, completing Ada Sunrise Rotary's District Grant-funded emergency preparedness project. Mama T's provides emergency shelter and supportive services to individuals experiencing homelessness in Ada, and the delivery ensured that kits reached some of the community's most vulnerable residents.

With this final delivery, all District Grant-funded kits had been distributed across three partner organizations: the Irving Center, Abba's Tables, and Mama T's Bread and Blessings. From initial grant application through kit assembly to final distribution, the project represented months of planning and hands-on service by club members.

The completion of this project was a meaningful milestone, a clear example of what a community-focused club can accomplish when it secures grant funding, mobilizes volunteers, and follows a project from idea all the way to impact.
