Ada Sunrise Rotary partnered with Ada Veterinary Clinic to collect socks for residents of Ballard Nursing Center, with a generous donation from Eathen Graham and Mercy boosting the drive.

In December 2025, Ada Sunrise Rotary launched a Holiday Cheer Sock Drive for the residents of Ballard Nursing Center, collecting new non-slip socks in adult sizes and men's white tube socks through a drop-off location at Ada Veterinary Clinic at 1020 Sandy Creek Drive. The community responded generously, and a particularly large donation from Eathen Graham and Mercy significantly boosted the collection.

On December 19, members delivered the socks to Ballard Nursing Center, bringing a warm and practical gift to residents just before Christmas. Activities Director Cindy and her team helped make the delivery a meaningful occasion for residents and volunteers alike.

This project was one of several December service activities that also included the delivery of supplies to the Unity Point youth homeless shelter and the ongoing student dictionary distribution across area schools.
