Ada Sunrise Rotary members gathered for a Luau and Tiki social hosted by Jason and Kerrie, featuring a shrimp boil and an evening of fellowship that reminded everyone why this club is special.
On September 7, 2025, Ada Sunrise Rotary came together for a Luau and Tiki social hosted by Jason and Kerrie, who opened their home and put together a full shrimp boil for an evening that members will not soon forget. The turnout was strong, the food was excellent, and the laughter was plentiful.
Jason and Kerrie were quick to share the credit. Connie Hall, Sue Jiru, and Dylan Peterson were invaluable in the kitchen helping Jason pull the meal together, while Roy and Krystal Chaney spent days ahead of the event prepping to help make it all come together. Many other members arrived early to help with setup, and their efforts were felt throughout the evening.
In their own words, Jason and Kerrie said it best: "We had a blast and hope everyone enjoyed their time together. We love our group and look forward to many more social gatherings with everyone. Cheers to our next event!" That spirit of generosity and genuine appreciation for one another is exactly what makes Ada Sunrise Rotary more than a service club. It is a community.
