Members and guests gathered at the home of Paul and Johnna on October 24 for the club’s annual Halloween potluck, an evening devoted entirely to fellowship, good food, and a few memorable costumes.

Ada Sunrise Rotary members and their guests gathered on Saturday, October 24, for the club’s Halloween potluck, hosted by Paul and Johnna Crocker at their home in Ada. The evening had no agenda beyond spending time together, and it delivered exactly that.

Costumes were encouraged, and the club took the invitation seriously. The crowd included four Oompa Loompas, a cop and a burglar, two Greek gods, a Scarlet Letter, a butterfly, and one very convincing Dwight Odell in disguise.

The potluck table was just as impressive. Guests enjoyed chili and frybread, homemade focaccia, fall-flavored Rice Krispie treats, and a rotating menu of cocktails courtesy of a Bartesian that kept glasses full throughout the evening and more!

Members were also encouraged to bring friends and family who might be interested in learning more about Rotary, and the relaxed setting gave everyone a chance to talk and connect outside of the club’s regular Friday morning meetings.

The club extends its thanks to Paul and Johnna for opening their home and for their hospitality. Events like this are a reminder that service starts with the relationships that hold a club together.
