A $5 donation gets you a picture with the alpacas and a $1 donation gets you a temporary alpaca tattoo. Our next Fireball Classic committee get-together will be a hands-on working session and potluck on Tuesday, November 17 at 6:00 PM. We'll be writing thank-you cards to our 2026 sponsors and water station volunteer groups, as well as stuffing envelopes with event photos and early 2027 sponsorship pledge forms. Whether you want to help write notes, stuff envelopes, put on stamps, or just hang out and enjoy some good food, everyone in the club is welcome. The more hands we have, the faster the assembly line will go!

Nov. 20, 2026 7:00 a.m. - 8:00 a.m.
November is Rotary Foundation Month, and our club's Foundation Chair, Bob Greenstreet, will be our program this week. The Rotary Foundation is the charitable arm of Rotary International. It turns member contributions into grants and projects around the world and right here at home, from PolioPlus and clean water to the district grants that have funded Ada Sunrise Rotary projects. Bob will walk us through how the Foundation works, where the money actually goes, and how dollars given through our district come back to Ada. He'll also share where our club stands on this year's giving goals, including our End Polio Now fundraiser, and what it means to be a Paul Harris Fellow or a Sustaining Member. Whether you've been giving for years or have never been sure what the Foundation does, this is a good week to find out. |
